These terms apply to your use of this website and to any order you place with Temptd Pet Co. ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them before you buy.

1. Who we are

Temptd Pet Co. is an online retailer operating in Australia.

2. Using this site

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree not to use this site for anything unlawful, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt to access parts of it you have not been given access to.

3. Products and descriptions

We do our best to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours can vary between screens, and manufacturers occasionally change packaging or specifications without telling us. Product images are a guide, not an exact reproduction. If an item arrives materially different from how it was described, that is covered under your rights in section 8.

4. Prices

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. Prices can change at any time, but a change will never affect an order you have already placed and paid for. Where a product shows a crossed-out price, that is a price the item was genuinely offered at before the reduction.

5. Discounts and offers

Discount codes and automatic discounts apply only while they are running and only to the items they say they apply to. Unless we say otherwise, discounts do not combine — if more than one could apply to your order, you get whichever one saves you the most. We may change or withdraw an offer at any time, but never after you have placed an order it applied to.

6. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email means we have received it, not that we have accepted it. We may decline or cancel an order — and will refund you in full — if the item is out of stock, if there has been a pricing or listing error, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we will tell you why.

7. Payment

Payments are processed by Shopify and the payment providers shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card details. Your order is only processed once payment has cleared.

8. Delivery

Delivery times given on this site are estimates, not guarantees. Once a parcel is handed to the courier, its progress is outside our control, though we will always help you chase it. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Full details are in our shipping policy.

9. Your rights under Australian law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

10. Returns

Our returns and refunds process is set out in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Content on this site

The text, images, logos and design on this site belong to us or to our suppliers, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own use. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

12. Reviews and anything you post

If you leave a review or send us a photo, you confirm it is your own honest experience and that you have the right to share it. You give us permission to display it on this site and in our marketing. We may remove anything that is abusive, misleading, or not about the product.

13. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting your rights under section 9, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to replacing it, supplying an equivalent, or refunding what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
